Cultural Readiness

Getting your organisation ready for growth.

Sustainable growth comes from a culture where people support and challenge one another in a psychologically safe environment, united around a clear shared vision and purpose that motivates and excites people.

We call this a Listening Organisation because it is a culture that is built on people being able to truly listen to one another as well as to themselves.

Cultural Readiness

What it delivers

Conversation Analysis

The culture of an organisation is reflected in the way people behave, i.e. what they say and do. Our method of conversation analysis that we call Verbal Behaviour Analysis enables us to capture data on people’s behaviour which we use to provide objective feedback to people in your organisation. We also use this to give you insight into the underlying dynamics that are holding back your organisational performance.

The Road to Change Workshop

Change is often seen as a challenge in organisations, and a necessary evil. What we recognise is that people need to be in the right frame of mind to accept change and see it as a positive rather than a negative. Our Road to Change model and workshop enables us to identify the drivers and blockers to change in your organisation, what change people see as necessary and identify where different people in the organisation are on the Road so that you can plan your change projects appropriately to achieve success.

Recognising conflict modes

For many of us conflict is seen as a negative and managing it is difficult. But conflict arises from disagreement which in itself is often important for creativity and success. It is the way that we handle our disagreements that determines whether the outcome is positive or negative. Through our research we have developed a conflict modes model based on verbal behaviours that enables us to observe in practice which conflict modes are in operation within any team. We can therefore give objective feedback and coaching to team members to enable them to achieve more constructive outcomes.

Attachment Style Assessment

Attachment Theory was orginally developed by John Bowlby in a study of how young children related to their mothers (primary caregivers). Since then the likes of George Kohlrieser and others have used it to assess leadership effectiveness in the workplace and conclude that a secure attachment style is the most effective at providing the type of organisational culture that enables people to flourish and grow. We see secure attachment as essential in leaders who want to create a listening organisation.
